Backed by a 100-year record of service, SBVC heads into its second century offering cutting-edge curriculum and strategic collaboration with employers, maintaining a high general skill level through a variety of relevant degrees and certifications in nearly a dozen manufacturing programs ranging from aeronautics to welding. Custom training, free for qualified employers, is available for construction, distribution and manufacturing operations.

Working under the umbrella of AJCC and guided by the mission of “Transforming Lives and Strengthening Business,” the Workforce Development Department (WDD) connects workers with needed training and employers to needed workers. The WDD also provides a variety of services to local employers including:
